Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and mental health needs

Conduct occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist, including but not limited to:
Patient assessments and evaluations
Developing and implementing treatment plans
Providing education and training to patients and their families
Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
Participate in staff meetings and engage in quality improvement initiatives
Adhere to all regulations and standards related to occupational therapy practice and patient care
Requirements
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred
Per Diem schedule with flexible hours and weekend work required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing excellent patient care and customer service
