The Learning Center Daycare, located at 224 W. Main Street, Winneconne, just minutes from Oshkosh, has a part or full-time assistant OR lead teacher position available for those interested in working with children of all ages. This role is perfect for individuals with flexible schedules who can start immediately due to the center's growth. While previous childcare experience is preferred, we're willing to work with those who are eager to learn and grow with our company. What You'll Do
- Encourage children's emotional and social growth by promoting understanding and positive self-concepts.
- Care for the physical needs of children.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing toys and play equipment.
- Monitor children's activities and ensure their play areas are free from hazards.
- Keep accurate records of children's progress, including daily observations and information about meals, activities, and medications.
- Instruct children in essential life skills, such as eating, resting, and personal hygiene.
- Read to children and engage them in educational activities.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's growth and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child's daily activities and any related issues.
- Prepare and serve meals and refreshments to children.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to each child's needs and abilities.
- Help regulate children's rest periods to ensure they get the rest they need.
