Own the fabric-making process from loom to doff
Help produce advanced geosynthetic materials that support critical infrastructure and environmental projects. We’re growing in Franklin, KY and looking for a skilled weaving professional who thrives on precision and uptime.
Role snapshot- Location: Franklin, KY (Onsite)
- Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift
- Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Operate Itema rapier looms to meet quality and throughput targets.
- Lead pattern changeovers; validate machine settings before restart.
- Continuously audit fabric quality; stop equipment to correct defects.
- Verify doff/roll lengths and confirm pattern accuracy post-changeover.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues; perform minor on-the-spot repairs.
- Support doffing activities and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized area and follow all safety/quality protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strongly preferred: prior experience running industrial weaving equipment.
- Valued backgrounds: weaver, fixer, warper, tie-in operator, or broader textile manufacturing.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
- Proficient with basic math, measuring, and documentation.
- Able to work an 8-hour shift and lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis.
