Position Title: Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Duration: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances from existing customers, resolving billing issues, reducing accounts receivable delinquency, and supporting credit and collection activities. The role works closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely payment and minimize financial risk. Key Responsibilities
- Collect past-due accounts and establish productive customer relationships.
- Take ownership of customer collections activities.
- Support sales and supply chain teams to manage credit exposure and facilitate timely payment.
- Resolve unauthorized deductions, chargebacks, rebates, returns, and invoice discrepancies.
- Investigate account discrepancies by gathering information from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement plans to bring delinquent accounts into compliance.
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
- Minimize bad debt exposure and maximize collections performance.
- Maintain accurate credit, collection, and customer account records.
- Reconcile customer statements, billings, credits, and rebills.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Communicate company payment policies and collection procedures.
- Prioritize collection activities and determine when escalation is appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two-year degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of collections experience.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and related computer systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
