Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina (NC)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Strong foundation in school-based speech-language therapy interventions
- Experience with elementary student populations (preferred for elementary role)
- Familiarity with delivering specialized services to low-incidence or complex-needs populations (preferred for separate school role)
- Proficient in evaluations, IEP goal setting, therapy delivery, and progress monitoring
- Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to support student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and manage documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate services with educators and other specialists
- For the separate school setting: deliver adaptive and AAC interventions, providing support for students with significant communication needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and responsive learning environment
