Step into a role where your expertise shapes young lives as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a full-time, onsite SLP, you'll provide vital support to a caseload of approximately 45–60 students, helping them develop confidence and essential communication skills. Your days will run from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours each week. This is a contract position in a supportive, student-centered educational environment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Current Oregon SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows
  • Previous experience working in school settings with diverse student populations desired
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, engaging learning atmospheres

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Consult and train teachers and paraprofessionals regarding communication strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school culture
