School Occupational Therapist | Durham, New Hampshire

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a preschool caseload across three locations near Durham, NH. This role covers maternity leave from January through approximately May 21, providing vital services to young learners at a critical stage in their development. The current caseload is around 35 preschool students but may fluctuate throughout the assignment.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for New Hampshire
• Background in school-based settings, especially with preschool-aged children
• Previous experience in Home Health, Healthcare, or related OT environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse education teams and families
• Adaptable and flexible to manage caseload changes across multiple sites
• Commitment to delivering high-quality therapy within educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and treatments in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and communications
• Manage services at three preschool sites, balancing travel and caseload demands
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
