This contract opportunity runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027, providing a chance to collaborate with elementary-aged students across three local campuses. The position focuses solely on conducting assessments, as counseling services are managed by dedicated counselors already on staff.

You’ll work primarily onsite, with the flexibility of selecting one consistent virtual day each week—Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday—to balance your schedule. With a standard 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll help ensure students receive the specialized support they need for academic and developmental success.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in Texas (required)
  • Prior experience working with elementary-age students
  • Familiarity with administering and interpreting a variety of educational and psychological assessments
  • Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to oversee caseloads across multiple campuses
  • Professional references available for verification

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for elementary students, crafting thorough and actionable reports
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Attend meetings (such as IEPs or eligibility reviews) as required to discuss assessment results and recommendations
  • Coordinate efforts and communicate effectively with staff across the assigned campuses
