Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students’ communication and language needs for the upcoming academic year! We are excited to offer three Speech-Language Pathologist positions, with opportunities available for both experienced professionals and recent graduates seeking Clinical Fellowship (CFY) supervision.
This engaging opportunity involves working alongside a dedicated team in a school-based environment, helping young learners build essential speech and language skills. You will play a vital role in guiding a caseload of about 50 students, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and encouragement throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license or eligibility upon start
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow eligibility (supervision provided!)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with varied speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and indirect services in both individual and small group formats
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and treatment sessions
- Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Implement creative, evidence-based strategies to foster student engagement and achievement
This full-time assignment spans the 2026–2027 school year (starting August 17th and ending June 11th), with a manageable caseload and plenty of support for professional growth.
