Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License and credentials
• Experience with Resource, Transition, or Significant Support Needs (SSN) classrooms
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration skills with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Commitment to individualized instruction strategies
• Effective classroom management and communication abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and accommodations tailored to students with a range of disabilities
• Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school teams to ensure inclusive practices
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student growth
