Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher License for Maine
- Experience working with students in grades 6-12 (preferred)
- Ability to adapt and provide support at both middle and high school levels
- Organized and detail-focused with strong communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend IEP meetings, generally scheduled before/after school hours according to availability and school needs
- Draft Written Notices and support development of meeting documentation
- Update and enter IEP information accurately and promptly
- Work closely with staff to provide ongoing paperwork and meeting support
- Deliver consistent assistance to help the team meet IEP timelines across both the high school and middle school
- Caseload will focus on grades 6-12, with support needs evolving throughout the school year
