Speech Language Pathologist in Lexington, NC

Your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential in either a traditional elementary or a specialized K–12 environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active NC State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience with elementary student populations (for traditional school setting) or low-incidence/specialized populations (for separate school setting) is highly valued
• Strong skills in direct therapy, evaluations, IEP management, and development of individualized goals
• Competence working with multidisciplinary teams and adaptive communication devices (AAC) for students with complex needs is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to students, adapting interventions to individual needs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication abilities and develop targeted IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress across academic and social settings
• Maintain accurate documentation, comply with all state and federal regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
