Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Teach as a Secondary Structured Learning Classroom (SLC) Special Education Teacher
• Design and execute effective lesson plans following each student’s IEP
• Track and regularly report on students’ academic and behavioral progress
• Collaborate with support staff and related service providers to address intensive needs
• Communicate progress and challenges with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt instruction to ensure all students can participate and grow in a supportive classroom
• Encourage student independence, self-advocacy, and engagement
