Soliant is actively hiring a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time contract position with a collaborative school district in Shelton, Washington. We are looking for a dedicated COTA to join our special education team and are scheduling interviews immediately.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Assist the supervising OT with data collection and student observations.
  • Follow and implement documented therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to help students improve fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing skills.
  • Document student performance and progress toward goals, reporting back to the supervising OT.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary special education team to ensure student success in the educational environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active Washington COTA license (issued by the WA Department of Health) is required.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the supervising OT and school staff.
