Occupational Therapist School Setting - La Mesa, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of OT interventions for children and adolescents
• Comfortable managing a caseload at multiple school sites
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify strengths and needs impacting learning and participation
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated student support
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families
• Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across various school environments
