Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist for an upcoming academic year in a dynamic school setting near Scottsdale, AZ. This is a contract position running from July 1st, 2025, through May 22, 2026, designed for dedicated professionals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students. Enjoy a structured weekday schedule, working 8 hours daily and up to 40 hours per week, with a manageable caseload of approximately 65 students. All work is fully onsite—virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license applicable to Arizona requirements
- Experience performing psychological testing, evaluations, and student assessments in school environments
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educational staff, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP meeting participation and support planning
- Ability to handle a caseload of approximately 65 students efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing
- Evaluate student needs and present findings to appropriate teams
- Participate in meetings with multi-disciplinary teams, including IEP meetings
- Develop strategies and recommendations to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance standards
- Work collaboratively with educators and parents to deliver tailored support
