Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oregon (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping children and adolescents reach their communication goals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized assessments and design effective treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
