Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Teaching Certificate with SM, SE, SA, or SV endorsement (required)
• Teacher Consultant Approval OR 3+ years of successful Special Education teaching experience in Michigan (required)
• In-depth knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, and IEP processes
• Middle school SPED experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as Teacher Consultant for middle school Special Education programming
• Support and facilitate IEPs, 504 plans, METs, evaluations, MTSS, and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate fluidly with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Provide targeted student interventions, behavior supports, and SPED compliance insights
