Pharmacy Technician - Allegan, Michigan

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a Pharmacy Technician role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Allegan, MI. It is a contract-to-hire position with a structured yet dynamic schedule designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times between 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
• Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays
• No weekend shifts initially; weekend hours may be introduced later

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacy regulations
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail environment
• Operate the Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescriptions and inventory
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with Michigan pharmacy laws
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail settings
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
