This opportunity, located near Orland Park, IL, begins as soon as possible and runs through May 27, 2026. Enjoy consistent weekday hours from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm while supporting a diverse group of learners and collaborating with dedicated educational professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Preschool endorsement required
- Experience managing a caseload of up to 20 students, preferably in school settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices for inclusive instruction
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s goals and requirements
- Collaborate closely with other teachers, therapists, and staff to support student success
- Communicate regularly with families to foster a positive home-school partnership
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment that encourages growth and inclusion
