Job Description
Make an impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst by supporting students and educators across a dynamic school district near Hixson, TN. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, with a part-time schedule averaging 10-15 hours per week. Work is onsite only, supporting schools throughout the Chattanooga area via a referral process.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license
- Experience working in school or educational settings preferred
- Willingness to complete time-sensitive background fingerprinting
- Skilled at coordinating with educators, administrators, and related service teams
- Proactive, organized, and committed to ethical, student-centered practice
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral assessment, consultation, and recommendations to support students, primarily via district referrals
- Collaborate with the district’s behavioral team and engage in monthly consults with the Vanderbilt Triad program
- Utilize the district’s Help Desk model to address needs efficiently without becoming overextended
- Deliver services from the district office and adapt support based on caseload and school needs across approximately 80 schools (not all have active referrals)
- Keep thorough documentation and communicate progress to the multidisciplinary team
