Join Dr J Family Dental as a Treatment plan coordinator in Largo, FL, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This exciting opportunity allows you to be the friendly face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment reminders to optimize clinic flow.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, providing necessary tools and support.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
- Handle billing and payment processing efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Requirements:

- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
- Organized and motivated
- Dental experience preferred, but personality and willingness to learn matter too!
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Proficient in dental software Open Dental, Dentrix.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Insurance
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is advantageous.
