Skilled Remodeling Carpenter -- Tile, Plumbing, Electrical a Plus
Job Description
Thomas Construction is hiring an experienced tradesman for residential remodeling work in Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs.
We need someone who can read the plans, take their own measurements, and get to work without hand-holding. This isn't just trim carpentry — we need a well-rounded hand who can jump between tasks: carpentry, tile, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
This is not entry-level. You've put in the years and can handle a range of work without being walked through it.
What you'll do: Handle a mix of remodeling work — framing and general carpentry, tile setting, basic plumbing and electrical, and finish work as needed; work from plans and do your own layout; run tasks start to finish; keep your area clean and safe.
Must have (non-negotiable): 3+ years paid experience in construction or the trades; hands-on skill in more than one area (carpentry, tile, plumbing, or electrical); your own tools and reliable transportation; ability to read plans, measure accurately, and do jobsite math; reliable and drug-free — on time, every day; able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet all day.
Nice to have: Tile experience; basic plumbing or electrical; the ability to run a small job on your own.
