Maintenance Technician

Leonard's Bakery, an Oahu icon since 1952, is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our main bakery and food trucks running safely and smoothly. You'll handle everything from a leaky faucet to troubleshooting a walk-in fridge, or a Industrial Dough Mixer — real variety, real autonomy, and a team that has your back.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Handyman-level repairs: plumbing, basic electrical, drywall, painting, appliance fixes
• Routine maintenance and inspections on ovens, mixers, fryers, refrigeration units, and the fleet
• Logging work in our maintenance software and flagging issues before they become breakdowns
• Cleaning and site upkeep, including some pressure washing and deep cleans
• Looping in outside technicians for anything above your skill level — and learning from them while they work

What you need:

• Valid driver's license (required)
• Solid hands-on experience in at least a couple of these: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, Carpentry, Appliance repair, Painting, or General mechanical/equipment repair (small engines, automotive, or industrial equipment — think the kind of hands-on troubleshooting that transfers to mixers, fryers, and fleet vehicles)
• Comfortable learning new equipment and systems on the fly
• Able to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
• Reliable, organized, and safety-minded — this role runs on trust
