In this role, you'll work with advanced conveyor systems, robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, electrical systems, and pneumatic components that keep operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair material handling equipment, automated conveyors, and related systems.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on robotics, conveying equipment, and facility automation systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Support and maintain PLC-based control systems and automated equipment.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules and accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
- Perform battery changes and preventative maintenance activities for industrial battery systems.
- Create, update, manage, and close work orders utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Monitor equipment performance and document downtime data to support reliability improvements.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and organize maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Follow all safety regulations, OEM guidelines, and company maintenance procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, and safety.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial, manufacturing, or automated equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing material handling equipment, conveyor systems, or related automation equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and principles.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working within established safety programs and procedures.
- Familiarity with automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Hands-on experience maintaining conveyors, robotics, automated packaging equipment, and material handling systems.
- Experience utilizing CMMS platforms for maintenance planning and work order management.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.
- Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Robotics maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming exposure.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards and OEM maintenance requirements.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.

Technicians can expect to:
- Work 10-hour shifts in a structured maintenance environment.
- Support equipment across multiple operational schedules and shifts.
- Walk significant distances throughout the facility during inspections and repairs.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 49 pounds.
- Work around automated machinery, robotics, conveyors, and industrial equipment.
- Follow strict safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
