Family Law Attorney
Job Description
Who We Are
We provide cutting-edge, trauma-informed legal services with a person-centered approach.
Based in St. Louis, we focus on family law through a multi-faceted model, including traditional court, collaborative
practice, and mediation, all designed to minimize the traumatic impact that litigation can have on our clients and
their families. We also represent licensed professionals who are subpoenaed to provide testimony or records
within the scope of their work in family law matters. We are forward-thinking team players, passionate about our
work, and committed to our vision.
We are a close-knit group, and we pride ourselves on a workplace where we support one another through
challenges and share in each others successes. We believe a rich personal life enhances professional success.

We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with at least three years of family law experience (we will consider less for
an exceptional candidate) to manage a caseload from start to finish. Our ideal candidate is progressive, solution-
focused, and non-judgmental, and is comfortable learning to hold a safe space for clients experiences. You love
family law and are passionate about changing the way traditional family law cases are handled.
This is a hands-on role offering substantial client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to
practice across both litigation and collaborative settings. The position is best suited for a motivated attorney who
brings a can-do attitude and works well both independently and as part of a team.
What You will Do
• Maintain excellent client communication and develop strong, trusting relationships with clients.
• Positively represent our firm and brand in court, in the community, and online.
• Manage a caseload from start to finish.
• Conduct potential client interviews and develop a tailored strategy for each case.
• Prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trial.
• Handle discovery and manage document review and case preparation.
• Review pleadings, motions, and orders, and conduct legal research as needed.
• Participate in regular trauma-informed care training.
• Become a trained mediator and complete collaborative family law training.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Missouri.
• At least three (3) years of family law practice (well consider less if youre exceptional).
• A passion for providing trauma-informed care.
• Progressive, solution-focused, and non-judgmental approach to client work.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters while
maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
