Welder
Job Description
As a Welder, you will primarily engage in MIG welding on mild steel, with occasional work on stainless steel. In addition to welding, you will prepare materials, sand, grind, and layout brackets. Maintaining a clean workspace and properly managing tools will also be key responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Perform tack welding, fabricating, sanding, grinding, prepping, and inspecting materials.
- Maintain welding equipment and replenish consumables as needed.
- Handle blueprint reading, large diameter rolling, and crane operation.
- Work with welding automation and engage in 55 / Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, SAW, and OXY Acetylene welding, with relevant certifications.
- Experience in welding automation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with large diameter rolling and crane operation.
- Experience in fabrication, production, and assembly.
- Competence in using a tape measure and hand tools.
- Ability to work shifts, including days and nights.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large manufacturing environment where the first week involves New Employee Orientation from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The second week transitions to your assigned shift. Attendance is crucial, with a focus on maintaining a drama-free workplace culture.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
