Production Operator

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
  • One week consists of 48 hours, followed by a 36-hour work week.
Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Production Operators to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, assisting with packaging processes, and ensuring products meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable operating around machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate downstream production equipment including cutters, pullers, coilers, and packaging machinery.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure materials meet company specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections and identify basic product abnormalities.
  • Use measuring devices and standard tools to verify product quality.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and power tools to cut materials as they move through the production line.
  • Ensure products are wrapped, packaged, and labeled correctly before final inspection and shipment.
  • Assist with equipment setup, line changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or general labor environment.
  • Comfortable working around production machinery.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, WY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
