Job Title: Corporate Recruiter

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our team in Sparks, NV. This is a 3-month contract to hire position. The role involves working on-site as needed, approximately 2-3 days a week, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm PST. The primary mission of the team is to support the growth of our Energy division by partnering with business leaders and Hiring Managers to fulfill operational and corporate hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and Hiring Managers to support operational and corporate hiring needs.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting from intake meeting with Hiring Managers through offer of employment and onboarding.
  • Provide support in writing job descriptions and resume screening.
  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies to identify exceptional candidates.
  • Facilitate all aspects of the interview process, including phone screening, interview scheduling, and candidate selection.
  • Participate in and plan networking, recruiting, and hiring events.
  • Meet all goals related to key staffing metrics, including recruitment strategy, time-to-fill, and new hire effectiveness.
  • Support company EEO/Diversity initiatives and accurately report and track required candidate data.
  • Develop and maintain networking relationships with community organizations, colleges and universities, alumni organizations, industry organizations, employees, and colleagues to help identify and source qualified talent.
  • Develop creative recruitment solutions and talent pipeline strategies.
  • Provide and ensure great candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Provide input on process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate level recruiting experience, including supervisory/management level recruiting for IT, Engineering, Production, and Quality.
  • Manufacturing recruiting experience, particularly in Finance, Procurement, HR, Production, and EHS.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels (web/social/professional networks).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and diligence.
  • Self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with high volume technical or operational, exempt recruiting.
  • Demonstrated track record in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top talent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships and business relationships.
  • Effective planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who works well independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions when confronted with obstacles.
  • Consistently delivers excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Intuitive, adaptable, creative, and collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The work environment requires compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements to ensure health and safety in the workplace. This may include wearing a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. The team consists of three on-site and two remote members, and the role involves flexible preferred interview times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
