Job Description
This role operates and maintains terminal block automation machinery to support efficient, high-quality production. You set up and calibrate automated equipment, monitor performance, and ensure that products meet strict quality standards. You also troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and accurately document production data while following all safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate automated terminal block machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust settings to maintain optimal speed, accuracy, and product quality.
- Inspect products throughout the production cycle to verify quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on machines to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Document production data, machine performance metrics, and any issues encountered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Work independently on assigned machines and lines, making decisions to resolve minor issues without relying on maintenance staff.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools, materials, and equipment responsibly.
Essential Skills
- Prior experience in machine operation within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience operating automation machinery is a strong advantage.
- Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate automated production equipment.
- Capability to troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues without maintenance support.
- Proficiency in performing visual and dimensional inspection to verify product quality.
- Comfort working with PCs or basic computer interfaces to enter data and adjust machine settings.
- Understanding of safety practices and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay productive with minimal supervision.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.25/hr.
