Job Description

This role supports a high-volume plastic extrusion and packaging operation that produces food packaging used by well-known brands. You will work at the end of production lines, packaging plastic trays and products, and helping to keep the line running smoothly. This position offers a stable, hands-on opportunity in manufacturing for individuals who want to learn the process and grow their skills in a clean, fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean production facility that follows Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The environment is not temperature controlled and can become hot, especially in the summer, so comfort working in warm conditions is essential. You will work on a production floor around plastic extrusion and packaging equipment, standing for most of a 10-hour shift. The work involves consistent movement, handling lightweight products and boxes, and collaborating with material handlers and other production team members in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palatine, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
