This role focuses on producing high-quality welds for industrial automation and material handling equipment used in the food, beverage, and chemical industries. You will set up and complete welding projects to precise blueprint specifications, ensuring accuracy, structural integrity, and a clean finish on every component. You will work closely with a small welding team in a clean, well-organized facility that supports both standard and large conveyor and palletizing systems.
Responsibilities
- Set up weldments according to detailed blueprint specifications and work orders.
- Mig weld components to blueprint specifications, ensuring proper penetration and structural integrity.
- Perform additional welding processes such as arc welding, stud welding, and use of a cutting torch as required.
- Configure and adjust welding machines to achieve correct welding penetration and desired weld quality.
- Clean and inspect welds to identify and correct imperfections or defects.
- Verify alignment, dimensions, materials, and number of components to ensure accuracy against machine orders and bills of material.
- Ensure final assemblies meet finish and squareness requirements.
- Interpret work orders, blueprints, layouts, and bills of material to plan and execute welding tasks.
- Collaborate with other welders and assemblers to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support production needs.

Work Environment
This position is on first shift, working Monday through Thursday starting at 5:30 a.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is typically voluntary on Fridays. You will be part of a welding crew of approximately 4–5 people and will collaborate with assemblers who typically work in groups of 2–6. The facility is very clean, well-lit, and organized, providing a professional and safe environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
