Job Description
The primary duty of this role is the mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools. The technician will be responsible for the final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools.
- Perform final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
- Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Assemble modules according to provided schematics.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
- Experience in reading electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.
- Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with circuit board assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desired.

Join a team-focused manufacturing environment that is extremely clean and quiet. The headquarters offers a diverse range of facilities, including office, classroom, production, repair, and laboratory spaces, along with a 5,000-gallon test tank. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday 9/80 work schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
