Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of ICU experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Previous Cardiac ICU (CICU) experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor hemodynamic status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (Multistate) RN License
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Previous Cardiac ICU (CICU) experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical care skills
- 13-Week Contract
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 Hours/Week (3x12)
- No Call Required
