🩺 Medical Assembler – Cleanroom Production | Career Growth & Training

As a Medical Assembler, you’ll start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment and receive structured cross‑training across multiple assembly areas. Your work directly supports life‑changing medical devices such as stents, catheters, and implantable leads.

šŸ› ļø Key Responsibilities
  • Operate coil‑winding machines to wrap and assemble precision medical components
  • Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes for accuracy and quality
  • Adapt between sitting and standing tasks depending on the assembly area
  • Cross‑train across multiple departments including molding, CEA assembly, and laser welding
  • Inspect and deburr molded parts using pliers, knives, and other small tools
  • Perform detailed CEA assembly under microscopes with high precision
  • Operate laser welding machines to weld small medical components
  • Run automated presses and stamping machines in the implantable housings area
  • Follow detailed work instructions to assemble components to exact specifications

  • Strong hand dexterity for handling small, delicate components
  • 4–6+ months medical manufacturing experience or similar precision‑based work
  • Cleanroom and microscope experience
  • Ability to use small hand tools both under microscopes and without
  • Comfort sitting or standing for long periods

  • Mechanical aptitude preferred for housings and press operations
  • Sewing or fine‑motor experience is a plus
  • Willingness to cross‑train and learn multiple assembly processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.53/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
