Job Description

This Industrial Maintenance Technician role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on metal forming equipment, automated welding systems, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical components to ensure maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency. This position is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and working with a wide variety of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on presses, roll forming equipment, conveyors, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic components including pumps, cylinders, valves, regulators, and hose assemblies.
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems while interpreting schematics to identify equipment issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot motor controls, sensors, relays, limit switches, circuit protection devices, and 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support efficient equipment repairs.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, drilling, cutting, and metalworking tasks to repair and modify equipment as needed.
  • Repair and maintain power transmission systems including gearboxes, reducers, sprockets, chains, clutches, and bearings.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify equipment specifications.
  • Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to support production and shift handoffs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industrial Maintenance Certificate required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience working with presses, welding systems, conveyors, roll forming equipment, and automated machinery.
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience with MIG welding, arc welding, fabrication, and cutting torch operations.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting maintenance and production teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Pay : $30.00 to $36.00 / hour Shift : 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Additional Information This position offers significant overtime opportunities, with employees frequently working 6-day schedules and occasional 7-day workweeks based on production demands. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and committed to supporting equipment reliability, production goals, and workplace safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64376.00 - $74776.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
