Position OverviewThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while serving as the primary field leader for clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily field operations and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Manage projects from purchase order through completion and turnover.
- Maintain project schedules, productivity, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and lead toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor project costs, progress, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects moving forward.
- Support ground-up construction, renovations, office fit-outs, and clean room projects ranging from $500K to $20M.
- Mentor field staff and help drive continuous improvement across project teams.
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing pharmaceutical, clean room, healthcare, manufacturing, or semiconductor projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
