The Production Associate plays a key role in the manufacturing process by safely handling and mixing chemicals, operating production and packaging equipment, and accurately recording production data. This position supports efficient, high-quality output by working closely with team members to store, retrieve, and prepare materials, assemble products, and ensure orders are properly packaged and shipped. Responsibilities
- Store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals used in the production process according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Record detailed production information, including ingredients, weights, and temperatures, and accurately input this data into the production database.
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes to minimize downtime and maintain consistent product quality.
- Observe and follow all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations at all times.
- Follow warehouse safety guidelines and promptly report any accidents, safety violations, or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in planning and improving production processes and product quality by providing feedback and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of the production schedule and customer orders.
- Perform assembly work as required to complete products and prepare them for packaging and shipment.
- Pick parts and products for orders, organize items according to customer requirements, and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods in a safe and efficient manner.
- Handle labeling, loading, unloading, and warehouse inventory tasks as needed to support overall operations.
- Use RF scan guns and other warehouse tools to track inventory and product movement.
- Perform general production and machine operating duties, including batch mixing and packaging, as assigned.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping activities.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a production, warehouse, or similar environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to log production numbers and enter data accurately.
- Comfort working with chemicals and following detailed mixing and monitoring procedures.
- Experience with general production work, including packaging, labeling, loading, unloading, and machine operation.
- Ability to operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail when recording ingredients, weights, temperatures, and other production metrics.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and willingness to follow all safety and quality regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and timelines.
- Forklift, Tow Motor, Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, or Reach Truck Operating experience.
- Steel toe boots for personal protective footwear.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with weight or batch mixing in a manufacturing or chemical production environment.
- Prior labeling and packaging experience in a warehouse or production setting.
- Experience operating tow motors or similar material-handling equipment.
- Familiarity with RF scan guns for inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
- Experience as a chemical mixer or batch mixer.
- Experience as a general production worker, including machine operation and packaging tasks.
- Ability to adapt to different shifts and schedules as production needs change.
- Comfort working in environments that may be warmer in summer and cooler in winter due to open bay doors.

Work Environment
The facility is extremely well kept and well lit, providing a clean and organized work area. Temperatures can be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter when bay doors are open, but conditions remain within normal industrial expectations. The operation is housed in a new facility that has been expanded from a previous location, reflecting ongoing investment in the workspace. Training occurs on first shift for approximately one month, with hours of 5:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, based on preference. After training, the role transitions to third shift, working from 10:15 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning, with a shift differential. Standard hours may also be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and during busy seasons the schedule can shift to four 10-hour days, with additional production as needed on Fridays. Employees receive two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch each shift. Uniforms are provided early on, and steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code, with reimbursement available once full time.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
