The Engineering Manager provides both technical leadership and team leadership for engineering operations. This person oversees product development, electrical and controls engineering, technical support, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing support while leading new product development efforts and managing a team of engineers. The role is responsible for ensuring products remain safe, reliable, code-compliant, manufacturable, and aligned with company growth objectives.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Elevator, lift, or electromechanical product manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of ASME A17.1, ETL, CSA, and other applicable industry codes and standards. Experience with embedded controls, firmware, software integration, and automation technologies. Hands-on experience with electrical design, circuit board design, control systems, and product enhancements. Experience leading Stage-Gate New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through commercialization. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Standard Work, Material Review Boards (MRBs), and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). Experience supporting manufacturing, installation, service, and field troubleshooting activities. ERP system experience (particularly Visual ERP), engineering documentation systems, and project management software. Ability to train technical personnel, dealers, and customers on products and systems. Strong customer-facing communication skills and experience resolving warranty or field service issues. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access proficiency. Experience managing engineering documentation, engineering change requests (ECRs), bills of materials, manufacturing drawings, and installation manuals. Ability to work with cross-functional groups including Sales, Production, Purchasing, Service, Dealers, Customers, and Executive Leadership.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
