Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of high-speed production equipment in a modern, clean manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing scheduled preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and related equipment.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications to install, maintain, and repair equipment accurately and safely.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on 480-volt, 3-phase motors, including diagnosis, repair, and replacement as needed.
- Conduct pneumatic and hydraulic repairs on equipment, including cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components to restore optimal operation.
- Use a volt meter and other diagnostic tools to test electrical circuits, components, and systems, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, and drives, to support continuous material flow and minimize downtime.
- Service and maintain gearboxes, chains, and other power transmission components to extend equipment life and improve reliability.
- Support the operation and maintenance of Fanuc robots and related automation equipment as needed, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection, adjustments, and component replacements on forming machines, ovens, and the printing press.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial production equipment.
- Ability to read and use a volt meter to diagnose electrical issues safely and accurately.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair of valves, cylinders, and related components.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair of pumps, hoses, and actuators.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for motors, including 480-volt, 3-phase motors used in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with Fanuc robots or similar industrial robotics systems.
- Experience in maintaining high-speed forming machines, ovens, and printing or converting equipment.
- Familiarity with operating in a maintenance environment that is transitioning from reactive to preventive maintenance practices.
- Comfort working with overhead cranes and multi-die forming equipment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Marion, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
