This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and supporting overall food service operations. You work closely with the kitchen team to ensure dish and prep areas remain spotless, supplies are stocked, and safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and clean dishes, utensils, and glassware by hand and using a commercial dishwasher.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, trays, and other kitchen equipment to meet established hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and food preparation surfaces throughout the shift.
- Remove trash from dish and kitchen areas and ensure proper disposal in line with sanitation guidelines.
- Organize and maintain dish and kitchen areas to support efficient workflow and safety.
- Transfer supplies, restock items, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Follow all safety, food safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
- Support food prep and tray line activities as directed by kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with cooks, food workers, and other team members to keep service running smoothly.
- Provide courteous and professional support to the broader hospitality and foodservice team when interacting with residents or guests.

- 11:30am - 8:00pm
- $15 / Hour (Paid Weekly)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
