Job Description
This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and preparing eyeglass frames and related merchandise for shipment while maintaining high quality and cleanliness standards. You will support inventory control, returns processing, and labeling activities in a warehouse environment, ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely during an 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift.
Responsibilities- Safely handle and accommodate eyeglass frames, ensuring all frames are cleaned and meet quality standards before packing.
- Pick merchandise accurately according to order requirements and prepare items for shipment by boxing, wrapping, and packing in line with established procedures and standards.
- Assist with inventory control by maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing items in the warehouse, and helping ensure products are stored in the correct locations.
- Create, apply, and verify tags and labels on frames and other merchandise so that all items are clearly marked and easily identifiable.
- Process returns efficiently by logging items accurately, inspecting them as needed, and returning them to stock when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following all safety protocols and keeping the workspace free of hazards.
- Follow company procedures and guidelines for packing, production, and packaging to support consistent quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Experience with packing, production, or packaging tasks in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures for picking, packing, and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment, correct labeling, and proper handling of frames.
- Capability to maintain organization in a fast-paced warehouse setting and manage multiple tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of inventory control practices, including stock organization and record accuracy.
- High school diploma.
- Up to 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with handling delicate or high-value products, such as eyewear or similar items.
- Comfort using basic warehouse tools and equipment related to packing and labeling.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a warehouse and manufacturing environment focused on eyewear frames. The standard shift runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will spend most of the day on your feet, handling products, organizing inventory, and working at packing stations. The role requires regular lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds and occasional sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You will rely on close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, to inspect frames and read labels accurately. The work setting emphasizes safety and cleanliness, and reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
