Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license/certification in the state of Texas
- Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and families
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language intervention under the supervision of an SLP
- Assist in conducting screenings and assessments when needed
- Keep detailed records of student progress and session data
- Collaborate with educational staff to support inclusive communication opportunities within classrooms
- Adapt materials and strategies to meet individualized student needs
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP to ensure fidelity to treatment plans
- Support a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
