We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join a growing advanced manufacturing company supporting critical production and facility operations in Fort Worth, TX. This is a highly hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the mechanical systems that keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and reliably.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, support new equipment installations, and improve overall equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and other equipment systems
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime
  • Assist with the installation, setup, and startup of new manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure equipment installations meet manufacturer specifications and safety requirements
  • Maintain and repair heavy machinery, rotating equipment, and production systems
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and inventory
  • Use maintenance management systems or CMMS to document work orders and equipment history
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed
  • Respond to emergency and urgent maintenance requests
  • Participate in maintenance training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable industry standards

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with heavy machinery, rotating equipment, and production systems
  • Experience supporting the installation and startup of new equipment
  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management software
  • Experience with general facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair background
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
