We're seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair progressive and transfer stamping dies that support high-volume metal stamping operations.
Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair progressive, transfer, and blanking dies.
- Diagnose tooling issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and CAD prints.
- Machine, grind, fit, and polish tool components to precise tolerances.
- Operate manual toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building and repairing metal stamping dies.
- Strong understanding of progressive and transfer die construction.
- Experience working with high-volume stamping operations.
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
