Production Support - CNC

• Communicates and works with Production Supervisor to develop and maintain a level production schedule that will meet customer requirements, such as but not limited to, higher inventory turns, lead time and earned hours
• Ability to read blueprints including GDT
• Must have a basic understanding or ability to learn pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical power sources along with a mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures involving production equipment and its functions
• Must have intermediate understanding of turning and drilling CNC processes and cutting tools.
• Must have intermediate understanding of metal cutting processes (turning and drilling) regarding cutting material selection, speed, feed rate, tool selection.
• Prefer strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
• Assist in achieving production rate on quality, quantity, and time.
• Responsible to assist the CNC Operator in making all the Measurements in time and form to the production parts indicated on the control plan.
• Responsible to make all the offset adjustments necessaries to control the process on the established dimensions.
• Responsible to assist changing Inserts according to the Tooling Charts and/or CNC program with the appropriate tools.
• Responsible for immediately informing the Production Supervisor/and Maintenance Technician any failure on the production Line.
• Responsible in starting up the robot after every fault and insert change.
• Responsible to assist in changing drill on drilling operation according CNC program and/or Tooling Charts
• Ability to plan – determine priorities and effectively schedule work and to function in an organized manner that addresses critical issues and are supported by an effective plan
• Ability to lead – bring out cooperation, initiative and performance from subordinates and associates

• Assists in research and development projects as needed
