CNC Machinist Programmer

Fab-Tec has an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The idea candidate will have at least 3-years experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer

Summary:

This role is responsible for the set up and operation of CNC Haas Milling Machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Creates and modifies computer programs using Fusion 360.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up and operate CNC Haas Milling Machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product specifications.
• In-process inspections of machined parts against drawings to maintain quality control.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work order instructions
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to tape mesaure, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges and indicators.
• Minimum of 3-years experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer
• High School or equivalent (Preferred)
