CNC Operator

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to write programs and set-up CNC Turning Centers or CNC Milling Centers complete from start to finish.
• Design and make work holding fixtures for machining operations.
• Familiarity with G & M codes.
• Setup and optimize programs from other programmers with the goal of optimizing the manufacturing process to reduce cycle-time and setup time.
• Interpret and understand part drawing specifications, materials, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Develop manufacturing documentation (setup instructions, in-process measurement. instructions, and work-piece loading/unloading instructions).
• CAD/CAM experience on PartMaker (turning) or Mastercam (milling).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work the afternoon shift.
