Job Summary: The Lube Technician delivers prompt, high-quality service by performing basic automotive maintenance and service tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oil Changes: Perform quick, efficient oil changes using the appropriate tools and equipment.
Fluid Checks: Check and top off essential fluids, including transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant.
Filter Replacements: Replace oil, air, and other filters as needed.
Tire Services: Replace tires, check tire pressure, and perform basic tire services.
Visual Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and inform the service team of any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed in our system.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
General qualifications and requirements include:
- Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must provide your own technician tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- A Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check may be required.
- Texas State Inspection License is required or be willing to take the License Test.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, occasionally in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold)
- Willingness to undergo and pass a comprehensive pre-employment background screening.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills for team collaboration.
- Bilingual is a plus.
