You’ll have the chance to support and travel between multiple campuses, focusing your expertise on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) population from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Your primary responsibilities will center around conducting comprehensive audiology assessments, generating detailed reports, and providing ongoing feedback and consultation to educational staff. With a Pre-K group of 9 and additional caseload information to be shared during the interview, you’ll play an instrumental role in fostering student growth and empowering staff to support DHH learners. Collaborative consultation will be a key part of your assignment, ensuring that every student receives the tailored support they need.

Ideal qualifications include:

• Active and valid professional audiology license in Kansas, as issued by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or appropriate credentialing authority
• Master's or doctoral level degree in audiology
• Prior experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations in educational settings highly valued
• Willingness to travel between campuses and adapt to evolving caseloads
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide staff consultation
